Obviously in my personal opinion, this decade of music was far from as good as the decades that proceeded it. But it had its ups, especially in the early half of the decade. here's some of those songs.

Three Doors Down - Be Like That '01 (Great slow rock track. It was a hit in the late summer and fall of 2001. This was a major period of change for both the country and the music world, and honestly this song is just plain good)

3LW - No More (Baby I'm A Do Right) '01 (One of the few artists I've ever seen live. They have great harmony in this song)

Aaliyah - We Need A Resolution '01 (She passed away not long after in August of 2001. We lost a good artist, but her songs live on. Heavily immitated, never replaced)

Blink 182 - Stay Together For The Kids '01 (Different from the typical Blink 182. In my opinion a very powerful song from the fall-winter 2001. Definately a change from the other singles released from the album, humorously titled "Take Off Your Pants And Jacket")

Britney Spears - Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know '01 last single from Oops I Did It Again in early 2001. Great ballad, well forgotton about, the video was deemed "extreme" but later on in the year she would overtop even this)

City High - What Would You Do and Caramel '01-'02 (First we had "What Would You Do" which consisted of a powerful message and amazing harmony. Caramel was just a flat out great song with a great beat and a great chorus and hook.)
